Following “chica da ici”/”my favorite things” EP (PT008.EP) and the Dudley Perkins collaboration “human natures” (PT011.EP), Perfect.Toy Records presents Mokadi`s first album. Mokadi is both studio project and live band, consisting of the virtuose vocalist Dita von Aster, keyboard don Ralph Kiefer, former member of Hipnosis and writer of their dancefloor-jazz bomb “black forest stomp” (PT003.EP, PT004.LP/CD) and multi talent and producer Marc Frank (Les Gammas). Influenced by 70s soul, rare groove, 80s disco punk and contemporary phusion styles, Mokadi creates pure, authentic music combining live instruments, fancy vocals, tricky improvisation and modern studio facilities.
